The Inter-Green Training Programme

The Inter-Green training programme is built to empower your team with knowledge to help you transition towards a greener and sustainable municipality. The training programme is a modular programme consisted of 4 learning modules, a board game for fun knowledge and skills practice, and an e-learning materials available for self-paced distanced learning.

After the successful completion of the programme, each participant will be awarded with a certificate "Municipal Sustainability Advisor".

Available Learning Modules

This section will give you general information about the training modules available under the Inter-Green Training Program.

MODULE 1

Localization of the SDGs

Module 1 helps participants develop leadership, and partnering skills, develop policies and programs that align with the relevant SDGs, including ability to contribute to institutional capabilities to build resilience and to sustain development.

MODULE 2

Green Skills and Competences

Module 2 introduces participant with the most important green skills and competences such as green procurement, renewable energy sources, waste reduction initiatives, building sustainable infrastructure, and more.

MODULE 3

Green Case Studies

Module 3 introduces participants with case studies in the field of sustainability. Under this Module, participants will gather case stories about most interesting municipal practices towards sustainability, based on Localization of the SDGs method.

MODULE 4

Train the Trainer

Module 4 will enable participants to past their knowledge to others by building their trainers' skills and motivation to organize their own 1-day training sessions within their municipality and beyond.

Other Available Tools

Board Game "Green Skills"

Intergreen offers physical and a digital board game for practicing the green skills from Module 2. The "Green Skills" board game is a fun way of learning and team building through group discussion and role-playing.

e-Learning Platform

Apart from the training course offered for a face-to-face training, or even a blended knowledge sharing, the Intergreen Project offers an opportunity for self-paced learning through the e-Learning platform.

Discussion Forum and Events

To support the knowledge and good practices sharing among targeted municipality, Intergreen will offer an online discussion forum, including online events and meetings for municipalities, e.g., Green Idea Fair.
